At Don & Low, we utilise the latest manufacturing processes to produce our Meltblown PP fabrics. Our production line has advanced features that allow us to optimise key process settings, measure and control air permeability, and offer bespoke melt additives and colours to enhance fabric properties. Additionally, our thermal flat calendar enables in-line lamination. Our state-of-the-art Meltblown line produces fine fibres (ranging from 0.5 to 3 µm), making it an ideal choice for filtering respirable particles. Our fabrics are diverse and used for a range of filtration applications.
Electrostatically Charged Meltblown PP:
- for medical face masks that meet the EN 14683 standard for Type II and Type IIR masks (20gsm)
- for respirator face masks that meet the EN 149 standard for FFP1 and FFP2 masks (25gsm)
- for respirator face masks that meet the EN 149 standard for FFP3 masks (40gsm)
Each product provides filtration properties for sub-micron particles while maintaining low breathing resistance. They are all specifically designed with high fibre attenuation from a single-row nozzle, resulting in fine fibres ranging from 0.5 to 3 μm.
We can tailor our production to meet the specific needs of our customers, ensuring that they receive the desired fabric properties and weights that suit their unique requirements.
